A TIME FOR GOD

 

I was surprised this morning with the news that a relative, whom I love very much, had a virus and was part of his face paralyzed, unable to close his eyes. I was very saddened by the news ... But, as I have within me an awesome God, He just comforted me and spoke to my interior.
 

God told me that things could be worse. He showed me the need for us to thank us for the events happening and how important it is for us to recover and resume our lives, our goals and continue in this jornada.Ah, God told me so many things ...

 

I wondered if phone or not and what I should tell her. At these times, we have to measure our words, since a word can cause many reactions that bring life and hope or  death and decay.

 

I prayed to the Lord and was encouraged to call her. It is very important during these times that people who go through difficult situations to know how much they are important to us and how much they are loved. I wanted to demonstrate this, that God loved her so much and I also.

 

When I called I was answered by another person. I asked how she was doing, if she was having some improvement. I sent a message saying that I was praying for her and to have faith and believe in God, that He would do anything. Still, I remembered that however bad the situation seem much worse it could be - I learned to evaluate these moments that give us hope and encouragement, because we can see that there are others in much more critical situation than ours.

In the end, I conclude my speech to tell her to utilize this time to be with God ...  

 

I do not want to seek explanations for events that only God knows why and the reasons why He allowed that we spend through them. But I want to learn that everything that happens to us is to grow up. And, if we are positive and have a winning vision, we can see that these "negative"situations make us to grow and learn more of God.

Let's enjoy all situations, whether negative or positive. Let's learn from events that are painful and heavy to make them soft and gentle moments as moments to be alone with God so He can show His love for us.
